Congratulations to Todd Webb (currently one of the editors for the CSCH’s Historical Papers), for having his book, Transatlantic Methodists: British Wesleyanism and the Formation of an Evangelical Culture in Nineteenth-Century Ontario and Quebec (MQUP, 2013), shortlisted to the Canadian Historical Association’s prestigious John A. Macdonald Book Prize! Winner to be announced in May at the CHA meeting, but it’s an impressive achievement to make it to the shortlist.
